AGM MP44 Stg44 guide -Sturmgewehr 44

Real steel info from wikipedia
The StG 44 (Sturmgewehr 44, literally "storm (or assault) rifle (model of 19)44") was an assault rifle developed in Nazi Germany during World War II that was the first of its kind to see major deployment and is considered by many historians to be the first modern assault rifle. It is also known under the designations MP 43 and MP 44 (Maschinenpistole 43, Maschinenpistole 44 respectively), which denote earlier development versions of the same weapon with some differences like a different butt end, muzzle nut, shape of the front sight base or with an unstepped barrel, all only visible with close inspection.

 Quick disassembly guide
Remove stock pin and then remove stock.Remove brass cylinder in which the pin is locking.

Remove frond receiver pin and the 2 alen screws marked with red colour. Then you can remove that side receiver panel.
Remove the small torx screw shown by the screwdriver
Remove the small screw at the back side of the body
Then you can remove the left side of the receiver.
Notice the shim under the selector plate!Looks like gearbox busshing but its there to lift the selector plate 1 mm higher cause it had a problem engaging with the selector. With that shim works perfect!
The hop up unit (standard  m4/16) is a homemade tracer unit build 1 year before thats why you see the 2 cables (black is not showing good) going back to the battery in stock.
Inside the hole that was the biger alen screw there is a hidden alen screw that holds the outer barrel and the gas cylinder attached to the receiver. If you look at the picture i ve a alen key in.You have to remove it so you can pull (a bit hard to do-i used a hammer and a screwdriver to hit it ) the outer barrel-gas cylinder in frond. Then you can remove the hop up unit and the gearbox from the receiver. The gearbox is a little dificult to remove if you dont remove the hop up.Pulling it out of the body from the back it goes out of the receiver easily. Now you can unscrew the magazine release button, spring and catch.
The motor is engaged to the gearbox in a frame like v2 gearboxes, but its a long motor standard for m4/16.

The diy hop up unit switched on!!

Here is the gun finished with classic army hop up bucking and madbull tightbore 6.01mm 455mm length.Shooting 420fps with 0,02g bbs

For the end i sand and paint the wooden stock in light walnut colour cause the original was to fake for woodstock!

Thats all for now hope it was helpfull toStg44 users!
